Vietnam Design Week is held annually, sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh City Design Association (VDAS). Following the success at VMARK 2022 with KVB Office, Vacons continues to deliver the VMARK 2023 with Hasbro Office project and was honored to win the Silver award in the BEST OFFICE SPACE DESIGN category.
This award motivates the design team to create more creative working spaces. This is also an opportunity for them to compete and show off their talent and creativity with colleagues in Vietnam and the world. This is also an important mark for the professionalism and development process of Vacons.
Hasbro project helps Vacons reap the “BEST OFFICE SPACE DESIGN” award at VMARK 2023
Outstanding elements in Hasbro office design
To receive the award at VMARK 2023 must meet the criteria in the theme “Shaping Vietnamese Creativity” including unique creative design but still bearing Vietnamese identity. Hasbro Office Project converges two elements with the idea of ”Hasbro Universe” representing one of the largest toy and board game corporations in the world.
“Human-centered” is a philosophy applied to design to create diverse working spaces in different styles. Colors and lines are balanced between main and secondary spaces to emphasize brand identity and dynamism.
Vacons cleverly combined elements of Vietnamese identity into the design with the red poinciana flower, the symbol of Hai Phong city where the Hasbro Office is located. Along with rustic Vietnamese elements such as rattan motifs and polished stone, the style is modern but still has traditional colors.
Challenges and motivation for Vacons after winning the award at VMARK
Besides the honor and opportunities after winning a big prize like VMARK 2023, Vacons also faces enormous challenges in the future. More effort is needed to maintain and continue to improve skills and reputation within the industry. Besides, creating increasingly creative designs to meet the increasing expectations of customers and the market.
